What is APPA?
Employees in every organisation face challenges within their personal or work environment, that might impact their well-being. Targeting employees of subscribed organisations and their family members, APPA offers online on-demand support such as counselling by trained psychologists, counsellors and other experts. This user-friendly platform connects professionals with people challenged by a specific assistance request. The user can make an appointment for a suitable guidance session face-to-face or by telephone. APPA is developed by Pulso Europe.
Who is it for?
The APPA tool can be applied by different users types. Below you can read more information about the general goals and further instructions for employees, organisations and counsellors wanting to join the platform.

As an employee of an organisation offering APPA, you have free access to this platform by which you can seek an appropriate measure that might improve your well-being. Moreover, this tool’s services are also available for your family members.

  1. Register or login and select a counsellor who meets your needs in professional expertise, location and availability.
  2. Book and manage your individual sessions in an online calendar: face-to-face consultation or counselling by phone.


Of course you can be sure that every interaction with this platform is strictly confidential. Furthermore, our network of counsellors is regularly monitored and updated.

Use the specific organisational code as a key to register on APPA.

As an organisation, you can offer APPA to provide your workforce with employee assistance services: always available and suitable psychological assistance services for all employees and their family members. You choose the support you want to offer: assistance type (face-to-face or/and telephone counselling), session quantity ... You gain valuable insights in the usage of APPA services through annual statistical reports.

APPA
for counsellors
Are you a therapist, psychologist, coach or another expert? As an educated professional you can provide your services to many organisations' employees and their family members. APPA offers them a broad network of qualified counsellors specialized in different domains (family, children, relationships and marriage, work, anxiety, depression …) and methodologies (cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused counselling and other psychosocial counselling)

As a counsellor of the APPA platform, you can manage your profile (contact information, language, diploma level, region, expertise …). You receive specific assistance requests from clients, corresponding to your expertise. In an online calendar, you display your available moments for sessions that can be booked by clients. You can consult an overview of your clients in treatment, as well as billing reports concerning completed sessions.

How does it work?
APPA is an employee assistance tool provided by Pulso Europe. To learn more about this platform, get in touch with our team at appa@pulso-europe.eu or dial the number +32 (0)16 20 85 96.
    In collaboration with the APPA team we will register your counselor profile where the following elements will be integrated:
  • Contact information and specifics regarding the assistance services you want to offer to clients such as service types (face to face guidance and/or telephone counselling),
  • Domains of expertise (family, children, relationships and marriage, work, anxiety, depression...)
  • Language(s) of the guidance sessions and background of your education.

Additionally, an agreement will be made for the fees that will be compensated to you on a monthly basis for the delivered services.

Once we have confirmed that your registration is complete, you can log in with an active email address and confirm your agreement with our APPA terms & conditions. From that point, your profile will appear in the search results of clients requesting on-demand support of a counselor who meets their preferences in professional expertise, location and availability. You will be part of our APPA network of qualified counselors and you will receive case requests from clients.

Following login, you will be guided through your personal APPA account where you:
  • Can manage your availabilities in an online calendar for guidance sessions to be booked by clients
  • Will be notified of new case requests and session proposals, which you can accept or deny
  • Will be free to end cases and reschedule or cancel guidance sessions in agreement with clients
  • Consult an overview of your clients in treatment as well as billing reports of completed sessions for a selected period of time
  • Can administer and request changes to your counselor profile
